Reporting to the Operations Leader, the Clinical Nurse Leader oversees the day‑to‑day functioning of an assigned nursing unit, offering direct supervision, mentorship, and clinical expertise to staff. This role partners closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, evidence‑informed practice and a consistently high standard of care. The Clinical Nurse Leader also supports staff development by identifying learning needs, contributing to orientation and ongoing education, and fostering a culture of professional growth. In addition, the role plays an active part in advancing research, evidence‑based practice, and quality‑improvement initiatives across the program.

Education
**For Clinical Nurse Leader vacancies in mental health services and in extended and intermediate care services, positions will be dual posted for Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or a practicing RPN registrant.
